In every Killer Bikini Vampire Girls film, the costumes have been something that we have put thought into, more than most people would probably realise. In Return of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls, Quinn's black leather jacket was directed inspired by Wesley Snipes costume in the Blade films. In The Killer Bikini Vampire Girls Strike Back, Anthony's costumes were directly inspired by Jon Bon Jovi in Vampires Los Metros. When we started developing Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3, Sarah's costume was inspired by Dame Diana Rigg's costume in an episode of The Avengers. And in Death of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls, Amy's costume was modelled off Gwen Stefani.

It's hard to believe that it was 10 years ago this month that two friends caught up for a chat that went something like this:
JJ: So what have you been working on lately?
JS: I have this idea for the Red Dwarf fan film competition.
JJ: Oh. What's your idea?
JS: A short film about the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls.
JJ: I HAVE TO DIRECT IT!
And that got the ball rolling. A week later the script was written, and a week after that pre-production started. We had so much fun in pre-production alone that we decided to make it a series! It was a crazy 9 months where we shot 4 Killer Bikini Vampire Girls films, shooting 2 and 3 at the same time in January 2006. It was an amazing rollercoaster of excitement - lets see if we can have as much fun on number 5!
Returning to the original concept of spoofing the film titles of the Star Wars series, the fifth film in the KBVG series will be Killer Bikini Vampire Girls: The Vampire Awakes which we plan to release just prior to Star Wars Episode 7. Goal set - now make it so!
