The Vampire Awakens - costume update

With production less than 2 months away, we have started looking at costumes for The Vampire Awakens. Much like the script, the costumes will be inspired by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The first costume that we looked at is the leader of the vampires, Kirsty, who we wanted to be a Darth Vader type of leader - cold, ruthless and feared. Here is an artists idea for the character:

In every Killer Bikini Vampire Girls film, the costumes have been something that we have put thought into, more than most people would probably realise. In Return of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls, Quinn's black leather jacket was directed inspired by Wesley Snipes costume in the Blade films. In The Killer Bikini Vampire Girls Strike Back, Anthony's costumes were directly inspired by Jon Bon Jovi in Vampires Los Metros. When we started developing Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3, Sarah's costume was inspired by Dame Diana Rigg's costume in an episode of The Avengers. And in Death of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls, Amy's costume was modelled off Gwen Stefani.

More details to follow soon...

Hope In Post

After much anticipation, the third film in the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls series is near the end of Post Production. Once completed, Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope will be unleashed on an unexpecting world. May God have mercy on our souls.

Going above and beyond the call of duty, the super editor of the film, Paul Black, is not only cutting the film in a fantastic way, he has sought out music to feature in the film. The three songs by Australian band Sonamulate that will be heard in the film will create a great atmosphere. For more information why not check out their MySpace site at www.myspace.com/sonamulate.

Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3 - now online

A NEW HOPE - World Premiere screening

Once again it is time to unleash another Killer Bikini Vampire Girls film on the world. Thanks to the people at the Trasharama A Go Go Film Festival, Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope will have it's world premiere in Melbourne.

SCREENING DETAILS
When: Sunday 14th of October at 6:30pm

For a complete list of films being shown, visit the Trasharama website.

People Magazine

Once again the people at People Magazine have had an article on the Trasharama film festival and what article about trashy films would be complete without a picture of a Killer Bikini Vampire Girl!

That's right, on page 87 of the October 8th issue is a picture from Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope. Last year People Magazine featured a picture of Charisma (played by Renae Geddes), and this year they have featured a picture of Iyari (played by Miley Tunnecliffe).

Stay tuned for all the screening information for the third installment of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls.

Episode 3 - finished at last

After 19 months of continued fun and excitement, the third installment in the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls series is finally finished! With a post production period to rival Star Wars: Episode III, Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope was officially completed earlier this week to the delight of all who had the pleasure (or misfortune) to work on it.

A well deserved thanks goes out to everyone for generously giving their time and incredible talents to help make these films develop from an idea mentioned in passing over coffee, to a never ending series of short films that will haunt me until the day I die.

For those who are dying to see the film (hi Scott) then don't worry, you will get to see it soon enough. Stay tuned for official release date information.

Check out the fake TV commercials that will be seen in Death of The Killer Bikini Vampire Girls including one for Camp Hackenslash (which was seen in Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope)

STRIKES BACK is wrapped!

"Didn't you shoot the film back in January?" I hear you ask. Well, yes. But there were several pickup shots we needed to grab before we could officially call a wrap. Now that we finally have them in the can, we can focus on wrapping up the ADR and editing.

All we have to do then is mount a reshoot for A NEW HOPE before completing filming on DEATH.

It never ends...

DAWN has entered pre-production

Welcome to this new and hopefully exciting blog which will contain the progress of the making of the Killer Bikini Vampire Films as well as my general comments on the life of a producer.

As the title of this entry states, Dawn of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls has entered pre-production. This means that the script has been finalised and we have started to crew-up and filming is scheduled to start in only 3 weeks from today!

The basical plot of Dawn of the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls is that the vampires from Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope hide out in a shopping centre. As you might expect, any homage to the two versions of Dawn of the Dead needs a shopping centre in order to work. As we dont have the budget to build a fake shopping centre, we have started the task of locating a large mall that are willing to allow us to film in their building - details will be posted as soon as it has been confirmed.

While the three characters of Raevan, Alyssa and Mercedes from Killer Bikini Vampire Girls 3: A New Hope will be returning, we do have other roles to cast and auditions are being held later today.

Personally I am looking forward to what will be an exciting experience making another film in the Killer Bikini Vampire Girls series.
